My TBR on Kindle Unlimited
Although I have a TBR the length of my arm, I constantly seem to be adding new titles to the ever-growing list. I’ve recently been getting back to reading on my kindle; although I usually prefer reading physical books, I jump back and forth occasionally. In the spirit of this, I decided to get Kindle Unlimited and to make full use of it here is my TBR of books available on the platform.

Where’s There’s a Will by Jessie Walker
Years after leaving town, Will Foster moves back to Shiloh, disrupting the life Waylon McAllister has carefully constructed in his wake. Their history is one entangled in friendship, love, and now… hate. However, despite the resentment they hold towards one another, the inevitability of their connection is inescapable.
I saw this book recommended online and the premise intrigued me – primarily because I heard it was about childhood friends who had become estranged, safe to say that I was instantly sold. I have however, been putting it off because of the heavy angst throughout the book. Once I get into the headspace for that, I will be picking this one up.

Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo
As the sole survivor of a multiple homicide, Alex Stern is on her hospital bed left with nothing when she receives the offer of a lifetime – the chance to attend the elite university of Yale on a full ride. Accepting comes with opportunities she could never have dreamed of, but why her? And what must she do to keep her place?
This is a book that I’ve been meaning to read since it came out. I love this author’s other works – the Six of Crows duology being a personal favourite – so I’m very interested to read this.

From Our Ashes by Alex Cross
Four years after walking away from each other and the future they so desperately wanted together, Ethan is back in Sebastian’s life. Having changed over the years they were apart, they must work through family complications, buried resentments, and their differences if they want the relationship they were forced to give up on years ago.
I read the first book in this duology, When We Ignite, a month ago and loved it. I have been eagerly awaiting this book ever since then and the 4th of May release cannot come quick enough.

Ravensong/ Green Creek Series by TJ Klune
The Bennett park are not yet safe after the events of Wolfsong. Gordo Livingstone hasn’t forgotten the betrayal he endured when the pack left him years ago. In the years since then, he has built a life for himself outside of the Bennett’s. However, after becoming the witch of the Bennett pack once again, he can no longer ignore the calling he feels towards Mark Bennett.
I also started this series in March, and I loved reading the first book, Wolfsong; It was a very emotional and heart-warming read. For some reason, I never went back and continued the series but I’m determined to fix that as soon as possible.

Like a Power Play by Elle Sprinkle
Peyton Clarke is the new starting center for Greenrock University’s women’s hockey team, determined to earn her place despite her retired NHL father’s fame. Darcy Cole is the student assistant coach, recently having quit due to her rheumatoid arthritis making her unable to play the sport that she loves. Despite their initial differences in opinion, Peyton and Darcy soon begin to realise they might have more in common than they thought.
I hadn’t heard of this book until I started browsing for my next reads on Kindle Unlimited. I’ve never been a big sports romance fan but recently my interest has sparked, expecially in queer hockey romances (thank you, Heated Rivalry). This book sounds very cutesy and I love a slow burn romance, so I’m excited to read this one.

One Dark Window by Rachel Gillig
Elspeth Spindle lives with a monster she calls the “Nightmare” trapped in her mind; He protects her, and he keeps her secrets. When Elspeth meets a mysterious highwayman on the forest road, she is thrust into a quest to cure her Kingdom of the dark magic plaguing it. With high stakes, and the true identity of the mysterious stranger to contend with, Elspeth also has to reckon with the reality of the “Nightmare” who’s slowly beginning to take over her mind.
This book seems to be trending recently so I’m interested to see what the hype is about. Fantasy is one of my favourite genres and I can’t wait to get back into the genre after my recent obsession with romance books.
