About Me!
Hello and welcome to Think Bookish! My name is Emily – I’m Irish, a bookworm (obviously), a lover of all things music – from Rock to Kpop, a cat sister (and hopefully cat mom someday!), and an overall entertainment enthusiast! I started this blog as a way to showcase my writing and to talk about the topic I’m most interested in – books!
I’ve read ever since I was young – ranging from an interest in Roald Dahl as a child to then getting into authors such as Cassandra Clare and Leigh Bardugo in my late teens. Now that I’m in my twenties, I read more adult novels – with romance and fantasy being my favourite genres, although I do dip into YA and other genres every now and then. I have a degree in English Literature and Asian Studies, and speak four languages – English, Irish, German, and Korean – two of which I am fluent in (I think you can guess which ones). I hope you enjoy reading this blog as much as I’ve enjoyed creating it 🙂
p.s – I also have a tendency of listening to music while I read, so I might be adding songs underneath my reviews and other posts about specific books.
Some of my favourite novels/ series include:
- If We Were Villains by M.L Rio
- The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid
- Love, Theoretically by Ali Hazelwood
- Frankenstein by Mary Shelley
- The Tenant of Wildfell Hall by Anne Brontë
- The Infernal Devices series by Cassandra Clare
- The All for the Game series by Nora Sakavic
- I Kissed Shara Wheeler by Casey Mc Quiston
- Circe and Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller
